Construction officially wrapped on Greenway Village at the Link, a 215-unit luxury rental community right next to the PGA of America headquarters out on Bear Trap Way.

We're talking single-family homes and two-story townhomes with private garages, yards, chef kitchens, and hardwood-style floors. The community sits on 31 acres and connects directly via trails to the Field Ranch golf course and the Omni PGA Frisco Resort.

Why this matters: The PGA District is becoming a real neighborhood, not just a resort destination. A resort-style pool, fitness center, and 50 acres of adjacent green space with walking trails right out your back door? Emily would move there tomorrow. Palo Pinto Mountains State Park quietly opened its gates March 1st for a soft opening, and it's the first new state park to open in North Texas in 24 years.

The park covers 4,871 acres of former ranch land about 75 miles west of DFW, with hiking, biking, fishing, and camping, including RV sites. Governor Abbott said it "will expand outdoor opportunities for families across our state." Entrance is $7/day for adults, free for kids 12 and under.

Noah's take: My girls are at exactly the age where hiking = 45 minutes of genuine wonder followed by 20 minutes of "carry me." This feels like the perfect summer day trip. Fair warning: the site notes that "final touches are ongoing" and you might see some construction, so temper expectations, but it's open and it's ours.

The Frisco Education Foundation is hosting its second annual "A Night to Inspire" Gala on April 10th at 6 p.m. at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Tickets are $175/person, black-tie optional.

That spread mostly comes down to things like neighborhood desirability, newer construction, and proximity to shopping, schools, and major employers.
