Howdy Frisco -

Main Street's biggest party is Saturday. The Frisco Rail Yard turns 10 with three live bands, Chicken Bingo for breast cancer, and an all-day celebration from noon to midnight. Also: FC Dallas vs LAFC at 7:30PM (it's Y2K Night), Safety Saturday at Fire Safety Town, and P&Z just delayed a 21-home development near FM 423.

The Frisco Rail Yard turns 10 this Saturday, and they're doing it right: three live bands, Chicken Bingo for breast cancer, and a 12-hour party on Main Street from noon to midnight.

Here's the lineup:

Hudsy kicks things off at 1PM. Patrick Casey & the Bad Mangos take the stage at 4PM. And Emerson closes it out from 7:30-10:30PM. Chicken Bingo - yes, the kind where a live chicken picks the winning square - starts at 4PM, with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. There will also be specials and giveaways throughout the day.

If you're new to Frisco and haven't been to the Rail Yard yet: it's the outdoor food truck park and beer garden at 6890 Main Street in the Rail District. It's been the unofficial living room of downtown Frisco for a decade, and Saturday is their way of saying thanks.

⚽ FC Dallas vs LAFC this Saturday, 7:30PM. It's Y2K Night presented by Chick-fil-A at Toyota Stadium. Last September home game.

🏠 P&Z delayed zoning for a 21-home community near FM 423. The Planning and Zoning Commission pushed back on the proposed rezoning from Agricultural to Single Family at its Sept. 22 meeting, requesting changes before moving forward.

🏞️ City planning $1.8M renovation of B.F. Phillips Community Park. The south Frisco park is getting an upgrade - details are still emerging but the project is in the planning pipeline.
