Howdy Frisco -

Well, we were this close to watching Luka and Dak play cornhole at Rollertown… then Luka’s hamstring said nope.

And separately (but still unfortunate), Chalo India got shut down for moldy food and gnats.

Not saying Frisco is cursed… but maybe eat at home this weekend.

Now, let’s get into it. ⬇️

☁️ A toddler play space is coming to Preston Road

A new indoor play concept called Cloudbound is building out a 10,000+ square-foot space at 3300 Preston Road, Suite 1200 - right in the Preston Ridge area near Stonebriar.

This one has my attention for a few reasons:

  • It's designed specifically for younger kids (toddler-friendly zones, soft play, cloud-themed aesthetic)

  • The buildout cost is ~$850,000, so this isn't a pop-up playroom situation

  • Construction started December 2025, with a target completion of this spring. Follow them on social for updates.

As a toddler dad, I'm always hunting for indoor options that won't overwhelm the little ones. Most big play venues feel like a mosh pit for kids. An age-specific space near Stonebriar? Yes please.

Between Cloudbound, the Universal Kids Resort opening later this year, and all the development happening around us, it's becoming genuinely hard to keep up with how much cool stuff is landing in this area. My kids don't know how good they have it.

Frisco is hosting the 2027 PGA Championship

The 109th PGA Championship is coming to PGA Frisco's Fields Ranch East course, May 20-23, 2027. Ticket registration is live at pgachampionship.com/register.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Registration is free and no-obligation; it just gets you in line

  • Registration window is open now - the earlier you register, the better your spot in line. Don’t sleep on it.

  • Expected attendance: 200,000+ over the week

  • Each adult ticket includes complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages on the grounds

  • Kids 15 and under get in free (up to two per ticketed adult)

  • Military members get access for themselves and one guest

This will be the first non-seniors men's major in North Texas since 1963. As someone who drives past PGA Frisco regularly on my way through the area, it's wild to think about 200,000 people descending on our corner of the Metroplex. Register now, figure out the logistics later.

🏥 Medical City Frisco just turned 10

Medical City Frisco celebrated its 10th anniversary last Thursday, April 2, with a $10,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.

Here's what this hospital has been doing quietly in our backyard:

  • 1,487 babies delivered in 2025 alone

  • 6,626 surgeries performed last year

  • 22,651+ ER visits in 2025

  • One of the first hospitals in the country to use robotic surgical systems

  • Now incorporating AI and augmented reality for spinal surgery

Ten years in, 600+ employees, nearly $6 million in local taxes generated in 2024. This is infrastructure that actually matters for a city growing as fast as ours is. Congrats to the team there.

🏠 Frisco Is Not One Market. It's Like 10.

Heritage Village: median home value $559,000. Chapel Creek: $1,610,000. Same city. Same zip codes. Completely different markets.

That gap matters more than people realize because an agent who crushes it in one Frisco neighborhood may have zero feel for pricing strategy three miles away. Frisco's micro-markets are that different.

Before you list, the question isn't "what's my home worth in Frisco." It's "what's my home worth here, with an agent who's actually closed deals on this street."

Emily matches Frisco sellers with agents who have the specific neighborhood track record to back it up. Free to sellers, no obligation.
