Saturday is stacked. The Fall Market takes over PGA Frisco, the Heritage Center hosts fall crafts, and Frisco Starfest brings telescopes out to Frisco Commons after dark. This Saturday might be the most packed day Frisco has had since Oktoberfest. Here's what's happening on Oct. 10:

🍂 Fall Market at PGA Frisco. The seasonal vendor market returns to the PGA District with local artisans, fall-themed goods, seasonal food, and family activities. Visit Frisco has been promoting this one for weeks - it's one of the signature fall events.

🏛️ Second Saturday: Fall Fun at Heritage. The Frisco Heritage Center hosts family-friendly fall craft activities as part of their monthly Second Saturday series.

🌟 Frisco Starfest at Frisco Commons. Monthly public stargazing event. Bring the family, peer through telescopes, and look at the October night sky. One of Frisco's hidden gems.

🎸 Motley Crue Tribute: Crueligans & Nüphoria at The Revel. If stars aren't your thing, there's a double metal tribute show Saturday night.

Plus SaturYAY at Kaleidoscope Park in the morning, the Rotary Farmers Market, and a Spooky Movie Series at PGA Frisco on Friday night. The weather is perfect all weekend - 88°F Friday, 87°F Saturday, clear skies both days.

🛒 Trader Joe's Council vote is this month. After P&Z approved it unanimously and Council tabled it in August, the final decision on Frisco's first Trader Joe's is expected in October.

🏥 Ally Medical ER ribbon cutting is tonight. Free community cookout with hot dogs, cotton candy, face painting at 5600 Eldorado Pkwy, 5-8PM.

💰 FY2027 city budget started Oct 1. The $319.1 million General Fund was unanimously approved by Council. Average city tax bill: $2,589/year ($8/month more). Frisco keeps its 20% homestead exemption.

🏫 FISD bond committee starts meeting late October. The 100-person stakeholder group will help shape a potential May 2027 bond focused on building maintenance.

🏡 Heritage Hollow - Nov. 14. Annual heritage event at the Frisco Heritage Center.

Frisco Commons is where the city gathers. The 63-acre park anchors Frisco's civic core with a large playground, splash pad, fishing pond, walking trails, sports courts, and picnic pavilions. It hosts Starfest this Saturday night, and it's the go-to park for community events year-round. If you've never watched the sun go down from the amphitheater hill, this weekend is the week.
