🤠 HOWDY FRISCO

Howdy Frisco -
My Star Wars-obsessed nephew found out Darth Maul is in town this weekend and hasn't stopped talking about it since. I have a feeling I know where I'm spending part of my Saturday.
Let's get into it.
⭐ Rebel Scum Con Takes Over Frisco This Weekend
If you've never heard of it, Rebel Scum Con is a Star Wars fan convention, one of those weekends where the Force is basically the whole point. Now in its third year, it takes over the Embassy Suites Dallas Frisco Hotel & Convention Center Friday through Sunday with actors from the movies and shows signing autographs and doing Q&As, cosplay everywhere you look, vendor booths selling collectibles and prop replicas, and photo ops if you want proof you stood next to Darth Maul.
This year's headliners are Ray Park, who played Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Carson Teva in The Mandalorian.
You don't need to know a single thing about Star Wars to enjoy walking through it - the costumes alone are worth the trip, but if you or your kids are fans, this is the closest a con gets to home. Single-day and 3-day passes are available, adults start around $35, kids under 12 a bit less, plus a VIP tier with early entry and line-skipping.
